NOTICE TO LAKEVILLE TAXPAYERS
In compliance with Chapter 40, Section 56 of M.G. L. the Board of Assessors has conducted a comprehensive reassessment of all classes of properties in the Town of Lakeville, Massachusetts. This action was undertaken to comply with that section of the law that requires triennial certification of property values. Preliminary Certification has been received from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Bureau of Local Assessment.
The proposed Fiscal Year 2015 valuations are available for taxpayer review in the Assessor's Office – 239 Main St, and here on the Assessors web page. It is also available on our appraisal website http://gis.vgsi.com/lakevillema/
These valuations are pending final certification approval by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and are subject to change. The public review will run from November 5 to November 18, 2014 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays) Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. You may also call the Assessors Office by phone during these hours for valuation information at 508-947-4428.
Fiscal Year 2015 Abatement Applications
Abatement applications must to received by the Assessor’s Office by close of business (5:00 PM) Monday, February 2, 2015, or must be postmarked February 2, 2015 by the Post Office, or date stamped by private delivery on the envelope.
