Meeting called to order at 3:30 PM with Gordon and Ron present. Janet is out ill. Ron was newly elected Monday the 5th for the three year term for assessors. He was duly sworn in by the Town Clerk.

Reviewed and acted on abatement applications for Jeffrey Perry and Sunrise Cable Inc. with the Field Clerk, Norman Taylor. After checking with the records, it was felt that Sunrise Cable Inc./ Dennis J. Berube et als at 9 Quail Run was not over valued, but comparisons that were undervalued as sale price of the foreclosed (distressed sale) was close to the assessment. Antoinette Miller requested a meeting with the Board. Glenna will set up appointment before final decision is made.  Jeffrey Perrys value was reduced by Taunton as in the past and as Lakevilles portion has not changed since the last revaluation three years ago, it was denied. Value will be changed in the upcoming 2005 revaluation in December 2004. Glenna will write Mr. Perry to explain the denials.  

The Board had signed the March end of month reports for Real Estate in the amount of $1,600.16 and MV&T in the amount of $9,785.19. They had approved $199.95 for a new drum for the Okidata printer to OES Service Company. Approved and sign; MV&T Warrant & Commitment for 2003 in the amount of $5,022.94 and 2004 in the amount of $163,915.10. The bi-weekly payrolls for period ending April 10, 2004 have been signed. Received letter from the Department of Revenue for the free cash figures $363,109; Landfill Enterprise $760,428 and Park Enterprise Fund $69,291.

The Board also received memo from Selectmen re: Annual Town Meeting being postponed until June 14, 2004. Gordon and Ron discussed 2005 Budget with Glenna and Norman for meeting with Selectmen April 7th.
