61B application submitted by Assawompsett Golf Company, LLC. Unanimous
vote to deny. Chairman, Gordon Goodfellow will discuss with the Town
Administrator to possibly retain an attorney to defend the Town of
Lakeville if Assawompsett Golf Company decides to appeal our denial.Black present.\ Approved and signed: *Reimbursement for Gordon Goodfellow for out of pocket payment for the October 1, 2004 meeting held at the Lantana, for the amount of $135.00. *Invoice from Fisher Systems Inc., for the Motor Vehicle license renewal, for the amount of $625.00. Reviewed: *Invoice from Appraisal Resource for the amount of $10,525.00, retaining $3,647.90. Unanimously voted to hold this bill until the next meeting. We need to clarify where we are in this revaluation. *Letter to the Freetown Assessors in regards to the land off Howland Road, which is formally Gene Bartletts land that he had given to Freetown along with the remaining land that is located in Freetown. *Wildlands Trust of Southestern Massachusetts filed an application to have their property located on Cross Street to be tax exempt for Fiscal Year 2005. Will send a letter stating the land was not owned on July 1, 2004 and will be valued at the full and fair amount until July 1, 2005 then it will be listed as exempt land.
