Citizen's Police Academy

Understanding Through Education

The Citizen's Police Academy aims to foster partnerships within its community by promoting education, interaction, and cooperation. This program is specifically designed to familiarize the public with the workings of the Lakeville Police Department. Upon completing this eight-week initiative, we anticipate that participants will gain a deeper understanding of the role of police officers in the criminal justice system and develop an enhanced appreciation for the various challenges that law enforcement confronts in today's world.

The Academy sessions are conducted at the police station on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
