HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY - OCTOBER 28, 2017
On Saturday, October 28, 2017 a Household Hazardous Waste Day will be held at the Lakeville Transfer Station at 100 Kenneth Welch Drive from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. To view the information on items that will be acceptable, please click here.
Disposal of Used Sharps at Transfer Station
The Lakeville Transfer Station is now accepting used sharps for disposal from Lakeville residents that have a sticker to use the Transfer Station. All sharps must be in an approved disposal container, which can be purchased at a local pharmacy. If you have any questions, please call Jeremy Peck, Superintendent of Streets, at 508 947-9521.
TRANSFER STATION INFORMATION
Residents can call the Transfer Station at 947-6599 for holiday closings, hours of operation, special announcements and last minute storm closings. There are also magnets available at the Transfer Station for your fridge or vehicle to have this number readily available. Please leave a message with questions as the phone is not manned by personnel.
Also, the Transfer Station is now accepting items known as Rigid Plastic. These items include resin lawn chairs, plastic toys, Tupperware items, five gallon pails, kitty litter buckets, etc.
All vehicles required to have a sticker (Expires June 30th.)
To purchase a replacement transfer sticker, you must remove and turn in the sticker or a piece of the sticker with the number still intact or full price will be required. A replacement sticker is only available if you purchased a sticker in the current sticker period.
