Freetown Street Closure and Detour

Freetown Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, July 13th from 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Paving contractors will be onsite to install the top course of the roadway and begin construction on driveway tie-ins.  Work will continue through Tuesday, July 14th, and is expected to be complete by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.  The driveway tie-ins are an ongoing project and will be finished in the upcoming weeks. 

The detour route will be clearly marked and police details will be present.  Traffic will be directed to use both County and Howland Road to circumvent the area. A map of the detour route is attached. 

Local traffic will be allowed access; however, residents should expect delays. Emergency vehicles will have access to Freetown Street at all times. Please exercise caution and patience while traveling in these areas.
