Freetown Street Roadwork

Freetown Street Construction Notice

Roadway work is expected to begin on Freetown Street, weather permitting, on Tuesday, July 7th.  Contractors will be using the Cold-In-Place process on the existing road.  Work is expected to finish on July 8th, dependent on road conditions.  Police details will be onsite to direct traffic flow, please allow extra time or plan alternate routes during construction.

Residents of Freetown Street have been asked to locate and flag existing sprinkler heads that are within ten feet of the roadway edge.  The Town of Lakeville is not responsible for the replacement of sprinkler heads or systems that are broken during construction but every effort will be made to avoid them if they are flagged.

The top course is scheduled to be laid in the upcoming weeks  - currently July 13 -14th. Updated information will be posted on the Town website and the Highway Department Facebook page.
