Swap Shop Program
The Swap Shop at the Lakeville Transfer Station was created to divert usable goods and materials from the waste stream. Transfer Station sticker holders may drop off items that have some useful life in them as well as pick something up that might be of use.
Although it is called a swap shop, residents do not need to drop an item off to take an item from the shop. Smooth operation of the Swap Shop requires help from the Lakeville community.
The Swap Shop needs contributions of usable goods and materials as well as volunteers. To view the flyer for the Swap Shop, please click here.
Hours of Operation
The Swap Shop will be opening in April (depending on the weather)
- Tuesdays: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Fridays: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Saturdays: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
The Swap Shop will be open from the Spring through the Fall months and the hours of operation will be dependent on the availability of volunteers to oversee the program.

All items shall be dropped off in the facility and deemed acceptable by the attendant. All other items left outside of the building and/or not approved by the attendant shall be rejected and residents are required to take the item back with them.
