Real and Personal Property Proposed Valuations

The Town of Lakeville has completed its Fiscal Year 2023 quintennial revaluation of all real and personal property in the community. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue has granted the Assessors permission to disclose the new property values while pending Preliminary Certification from the Massachusetts Bureau of Local Assessment. These proposed assessed values reflect the estimated full market value of properties as of a valuation date of January 1, 2022, based on recent construction data, income data, and comparable sales from within the community over the prior year.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2023 valuations will be available to the public at the Assessor's Office located at Town Hall, 346 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA  02347. The public review will take place on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday, November 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Under these proposed valuations, town-wide residential real property value increased 12.6% overall; commercial real property value increased 11.1% overall; industrial real property value increased 11.5% overall; and personal property value increased 14.2% overall.
