Car Seat Safety Program

The Lakeville Police Department is dedicated to enhancing child safety for young passengers in motor vehicles on our roadways. In collaboration with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Highway Safety Division (EOPSS/HSD), we actively engage with local municipalities and non-profit organizations to promote the proper installation and use of child passenger seats through community outreach. Additionally, we maintain a child passenger safety (CPS) hotline and provide training to CPS technicians.

Within our Lakeville Police Department, we have officers who are certified car seat technicians. We take pride in offering Lakeville residents the assurance that their child safety seats will be installed correctly and securely.
