Dive Team

The Lakeville Police Dive Team is composed of highly trained and certified officers equipped for scuba diving, line tending, and vessel operation. This specialized unit is skilled in advanced and public safety diving, including expertise in using dry suits and full-face masks with communication capabilities.

With proficiency in various specialties, the team engages in underwater search and recovery missions, addressing incidents involving victims, evidence, and property within the 6.6 square miles of the town's waterways. Additionally, the team plays an integral role as members of the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (S.E.M.L.E.C.) Marine and Underwater Recovery Team. They extend mutual aid to neighboring communities, contributing to water-related searches and rescues in the region.
